Titanium Bars are usually fabricated in grades such as Grade 2 (commercially pure) and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V alloy). Grade 2 has 99.2% Titanium, ≤ 0.25% oxygen, and ≤ 0.3% iron, whereas Grade 5 has 90% Titanium, 6% Aluminum, and 4% Vanadium. The mechanical properties vary from tensile strength of 345 MPa (Grade 2) to 895 MPa (Grade 5), and elongation varies from 10–20%. Physical properties involve a density of 4.43–4.51 g/cm³, melting point ~1660°C, and superior corrosion resistance, biocompatibility, and strength-to-weight ratio, qualifying them for high-performance applications.
