Titanium Wire generally has 99.5% Titanium in commercially pure grades such as Grade 2, or other elements in alloyed grades such as Grade 5 (6% Aluminum, 4% Vanadium). The wire provides a tensile strength of 344 MPa to 895 MPa based on the grade, and yield strength of 275 MPa to 828 MPa. Elongation is 10%–30%. It possesses low density of 4.51 g/cm³ and high melting point of about 1668°C. The wire is non-magnetic, possesses outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and chemical environments, and maintains properties in a broad temperature range.
