Titanium Nuts consist mainly of Titanium (min. 90%), with minor contents of Aluminum (6%) and Vanadium (4%)—well known as Grade 5 or Ti-6Al-4V. This alloy achieves a tensile strength of about 950 MPa and yield strength of 880 MPa with good resistance to fatigue and fracture. In physical terms, it is not dense, being only 4.43 g/cm³ with a melting point of about 1660°C. These nuts provide outstanding corrosion resistance in seawater and chemical environments, good heat resistance, and greater strength, suitable for critical applications where performance as well as weight saving is the prime requirement.
