Titanium Gr 5 Bars consist of around 90% Titanium, 6% Aluminum, and 4% Vanadium. The other elements are Oxygen (≤0.20%), Iron (≤0.40%), Carbon (≤0.08%), Nitrogen (≤0.05%), and Hydrogen (≤0.015%). Titanium Gr 5 provides the strength of 895 MPa approx., a yield strength of around 828 MPa, and elongation ranging from 10–15%. With the density of 4.43 g/cm³ and melting temperature approximately 1660°C, Titanium Gr 5 has a perfect blend of low weight characteristics coupled with maximum strength. Its mechanical stability can maintain at a higher temperature level and provides greater resistance to corrosion in seawater, as well as oxidizing surroundings.
