Inconel 601 Stud Bolts consist mainly of Nickel (58.0–63.0%), Chromium (21.0–25.0%), and Iron (balance), with Aluminum (1.0–1.7%), Carbon (≤0.10%), Manganese (≤1.0%), Silicon (≤0.5%), Sulfur (≤0.015%), and Copper (≤1.0%). These bolts have a tensile strength of around 600 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of 30–35%. They have a density of 8.11 g/cm³ and a melting point between 1360–1411°C, such that they retain structural integrity even in the face of extreme temperatures and corrosive conditions. These chemical and physical properties make them superior in their resistance to oxidation, thermal fatigue, and carburization.
