Inconel 617 Tubing consists of Nickel (44.5–60%), Chromium (20–24%), Cobalt (10–15%), Molybdenum (8–10%), with traces of Aluminum (0.8–1.5%), Carbon, Iron, and other constituent elements. It has superior mechanical strength with a tensile strength of approximately 540 MPa, yield strength of 270 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Physical properties include a density of 8.36 g/cm³ and melting range of 1330–1380°C. The alloy has superior resistance to high-temperature oxidation and carburization as well as superior metallurgical stability, with this being suitable for extreme thermal conditions.
