Inconel 718 Tubing consists of a nickel-chromium alloy with strengthening additions of molybdenum, niobium, titanium, and aluminum. The standard composition consists of Nickel (Ni) 50–55%, Chromium (Cr) 17–21%, Iron (Fe) balance, Molybdenum (Mo) 2.8–3.3%, Niobium + Tantalum (Nb + Ta) 4.75–5.5%, Titanium (Ti) 0.65–1.15%, Aluminum (Al) 0.2–0.8%, and Carbon (C) ≤0.08%. It possesses remarkable mechanical characteristics, such as tensile strength of up to 1240 MPa, yield strength of approximately 1030 MPa, and elongation of 12–20%. Its density is 8.19 g/cm³ and melting range is 1260–1336°C, and it has better resistance to creep, fatigue, and corrosion.
