Titanium Gr 5 Sheet and Plate contains Titanium (Ti) ~90%, Aluminum (Al) 6%, and Vanadium (V) 4%. It possesses superior mechanical properties with tensile strength of approximately 895 MPa, yield strength of about 828 MPa, and elongation of 10–15%. The density of the alloy is 4.43 g/cm³ and melting point is 1660°C. Its physical properties also comprise good thermal conductivity (~6.7 W/m·K) and superior corrosion resistance in oxidizing and chloride-containing environments. These characteristics render Gr 5 sheet and plate ideal for structural and high-stress applications that demand durability, strength, and low weight.
