Titanium Grade 2 Tube Fittings contain 99.2% of Titanium, minor quantities of oxygen ≤ 0.25%, iron ≤ 0.3%, carbon ≤ 0.08%, nitrogen ≤ 0.03%, and hydrogen ≤ 0.015%. These have good mechanical strength with a tensile strength of approximately 345 MPa, yield strength of about 275 MPa, and elongation of 20%. Physically, Grade 2 titanium is 4.51 g/cm³ in density, 1665°C in melting point, and has excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing and mildly reducing environments. All these properties make it perfectly suited for critical, high-performance fluid and gas systems.
