Titanium Tube Fittings, particularly those that are Grade 2 or Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), are usually composed of Titanium ~90%, Aluminum 6%, Vanadium 4%, Fe <0.3%, O <0.2%, C <0.08%. They provide tensile strength up to 895 MPa, yield strength approximately 828 MPa, and elongation of 10–20%. The density is around 4.43 g/cm³, which is 40–45% lighter than steel. They have a melting point of ~1660°C, thermal conductivity of ~6.7 W/m·K, and are non-corrosive and non-magnetic. These physical and mechanical properties provide superior performance in challenging environments with pressure, heat, and corrosive chemicals.
