Inconel Threaded Rod is produced from a nickel-chromium-based superalloy with a chemical composition consisting of Nickel (≥58%), Chromium (20–23%), Iron (5–7%), Molybdenum (8–10%), and Niobium (3.15–4.15%), with Carbon ≤0.10%. These rods have very good mechanical properties like tensile strength of 1000 MPa, yield strength of about 690 MPa, and elongation of 30%. They are also physically very resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and creep at high temperatures, having a melting point of nearly 1350°C. Such features render Inconel threaded rods very safe to use in harsh environments subjected to thermal cycling, pressure, and corrosive chemicals.
