Incoloy Wire, and more so the grade 800, contains 30–35% Nickel, 19–23% Chromium, and not less than 39.5% Iron. The other constituents include Titanium (0.15–0.60%), Aluminum (0.15–0.60%), Manganese (1% maximum), and Carbon (max 0.10%). The wire possesses superior mechanical properties, which include tensile strength of around 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of around 30%. It has a specific gravity of 7.94 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1357°C to 1385°C. These characteristics make it deliver superior performance in high-temperature, corrosive, and high-stress applications, rendering Incoloy wire very stable and resistant.
