Incoloy 825 Wire is made up of Nickel (38–46%), Iron (22% minimum), Chromium (19.5–23.5%), Molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), Copper (1.5–3%), Titanium (0.6–1.2%), and Carbon (0.05% maximum). The wire has a tensile strength of 585 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of 30%, providing good mechanical performance. It has a density of 8.14 g/cm³ and a melting point range of 1370°C to 1400°C. These characteristics render it extremely resistant to stress-corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice corrosion, and reducing and oxidizing acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid.
