Inconel 690 Bars consist of a high-nickel alloy possessing high metallurgical stability and corrosion resistance. The chemical composition is as follows: Nickel (Ni) 58–63%, Chromium (Cr) 27–31%, Iron (Fe) 7–11%, trace amounts of Silicon (Si) ≤0.5%, Manganese (Mn) ≤0.5%, Carbon (C) ≤0.05%, and Aluminum and Titanium ≤0.5% each. Mechanically, the bars possess tensile strength of ~414 MPa, yield strength of ~205 MPa, and elongation of 30%. They have a density of 8.19 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1343–1377°C, and they are best used in high-temperature structural as well as corrosive service applications.
