A286 Round Bar is an iron-nickel-chromium-based superalloy with Nickel (24–27%), Chromium (13.5–16%), Iron (Balance), Titanium (1.9–2.3%), Molybdenum (1–1.5%), Vanadium (0.1–0.5%), and trace elements such as Boron, Aluminum, and Carbon. It provides tensile strength of 130 ksi and yield strength of 85 ksi with good creep resistance up to 704°C. Physical properties are density 7.93 g/cm³ and melting range 1364–1430°C. A286 possesses good corrosion resistance, good strength, and good thermal stability, which are the favorable qualities for critical high-temperature as well as high-stress conditions.
