Grade Mar M247 Round Bars consist of Ni (base), 10% W, 8.4% Al, 5.6% Ta, 5.5% Co, 3% Cr, 1.5% Hf, 1.1% Ti, with C ≤ 0.15%, and traces of Zr and B. They have tensile strength > 1000 MPa, yield strength ~800 MPa, and superior creep and fatigue resistance. Density is ~8.9 g/cm³, with a melting point of ~1335°C. This alloy provides superior structural stability and high-temperature oxidation resistance, with it being particularly suited to components subjected to rigorous thermal and mechanical stress.
