AWS Class ERNi-1 MIG and TIG Filler Wire and Rod generally consist of 99.6% minimum Nickel (Ni) with trace amounts of elements such as Carbon (≤0.15%), Manganese (≤1.25%), Silicon (≤0.75%), Sulfur (≤0.015%), and Iron (≤0.40%). The high-purity nickel content leads to superior corrosion resistance, particularly in alkaline and neutral salt environments. It has a tensile strength of approximately 415 MPa, yield strength of 105 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. With a melting point of around 1455°C and a density of 8.89 g/cm³, ERNi-1 is optimally suited to applications requiring top-notch thermal and corrosion performance.
