AWS Class ERNiCrMo-4 MIG and TIG Filler Wire and Rod typically contain 57–63% Nickel (Ni), 20–23% Chromium (Cr), 8–10% Molybdenum (Mo), 3.15–4.15% Niobium (Nb), and up to 5% Iron (Fe). The minor constituents are Manganese (≤1.0%), Silicon (≤0.5%), and Carbon (≤0.05%). These fillers exhibit tensile strength of 760–850 MPa, yield strength approximately 550 MPa, and elongation of 25–35%. Density is around 8.44 g/cm³ with a melting point in excess of 1300°C. The excellent corrosion resistance of the alloy, particularly to chlorides and reducing acids, makes it an ideal choice for challenging welds in both cryogenic and high-temperature environments.

AWS Class ERNiCrMo-4 MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wire and Rod are widely applied for welding Inconel 625 and other comparable alloys in severely corrosive or high-temperature service conditions.
