AWS Class ERNiCrMo-3 MIG and TIG Filler Wire and Rod has a typical composition of 58–63% Nickel (Ni), 20–23% Chromium (Cr), 8–10% Molybdenum (Mo), 3.15–4.15% Niobium (Nb), and up to 5% Iron (Fe). Other constituents are Manganese (≤1.0%), Silicon (≤0.5%), and Carbon (≤0.05%). It has high tensile strength of 760–850 MPa, yield strength of about 550 MPa, and elongation of 25–35%. The melting point of the alloy is over 1300°C and it has a density of about 8.44 g/cm³. These characteristics make ERNiCrMo-3 ideal for corrosive and high-temperature applications, which will provide optimal durability and weld integrity.
