AWS Class ERNiCr-3 MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wire and Rod is composed of Nickel (Ni 67.0%), Chromium (Cr 20.0–23.0%), Iron (Fe ≤ 3.0%), Manganese (Mn ≤ 2.5%), Niobium + Tantalum (Nb + Ta ≤ 1.0%), and other trace constituents such as Silicon (Si ≤ 0.75%) and Carbon (C ≤ 0.10%). This makes it exhibit excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in high-temperature and aggressive applications. The filler provides a tensile strength of approximately 760 MPa and elongation of 30%. Its density is about 8.4 g/cm³, and melting point is about 1350°C, and it is used in critical high-performance welding processes.
