AWS Class ERNiCu-7 MIG and TIG Filler Wire and Rod generally consists of 63–70% Nickel (Ni), 29–33% Copper (Cu), ≤2.5% Iron (Fe), ≤2.5% Manganese (Mn), ≤0.75% Titanium (Ti), and ≤0.15% Carbon (C). These percentages provide outstanding resistance to corrosive environments, particularly seawater and reducing acids. The tensile strength is 480–550 MPa, yield strength is about 340 MPa, and elongation is approximately 30–35%. With a density of ~8.9 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 1300°C, these fillers provide smooth arc behavior, excellent puddle control, and low porosity, providing strong and high-quality welds in demanding applications.
