AWS Class ERNiCrMo-10 TIG and MIG Filler Wire and Rod generally have 55–63% Nickel (Ni), 20–24% Chromium (Cr), 8–10% Molybdenum (Mo), 2.5–3.5% Tungsten (W), and up to 5% Iron (Fe). Trace constituents are Manganese (≤1.0%), Silicon (≤0.5%), and Carbon (≤0.05%). This alloy provides a tensile strength of 750–850 MPa, yield strength approximately 550 MPa, and elongation of 25–35%. Having a density of around 8.5 g/cm³ and a melting point of greater than 1300°C, ERNiCrMo-10 is highly acclaimed for its unparalleled resistance to stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion, and pitting in chemically aggressive seawater environments.
