Beryllium Copper Sheets and Plates contain 1.8–2.0% Beryllium, 0.2–0.6% Cobalt, and the balance Copper. This alloy provides them with superior strength and conductivity. The material has a tensile strength of 1100–1400 MPa, yield strength of 700–1000 MPa, and elongation of 1–15% based on the temper. It provides thermal conductivity of about 105 W/m·K and electrical conductivity of 20–30% IACS. Its density is 8.25 g/cm³, and melting point is 870–980°C. All these properties make Beryllium Copper a universal alloy for demanding mechanical and electrical uses.
