Manganese Bronze Sheets and Plates generally consist of Copper (55–65%), Zinc (20–25%), Manganese (2.5–5%), Aluminum (0.5–1.5%), and Iron (2.5–4%). These components impart superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 550–700 MPa, yield strength of 300–450 MPa, and elongation of 20–30%. The alloy also provides good hardness (about 100–150 HB) and superior corrosion and wear resistance. Physically, Manganese Bronze possesses a density of about 8.2 g/cm³ and shows dimensional stability in marine and industrial conditions, thus being suitable for high–stress and corrosive condition-exposed components.
