Nitinol Superelastic Sheet and Plate contains mostly Nickel (around 55–56%) and Titanium (44–45%), and trace amounts like Cobalt, Iron, and Chromium ≤0.05% each. It shows outstanding mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 895–965 MPa, yield strength of about 195 MPa, and elongation to about 15%. Nitinol’s superelasticity enables it to be strained up to 8% without permanent deformation. It is physically dense at 6.45 g/cm³ and possesses superior biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and fatigue life. All these properties make it suitable for precision applications involving flexibility and stress recovery.
