Niobium Sheets and Plates are made mostly of 99.95% pure niobium with minor impurities such as iron (≤0.05%) and oxygen (≤0.05%). The material shows excellent mechanical behavior, with tensile strength varying from 200 MPa to 400 MPa, based on the alloy grade. Its density is 8.57 g/cm³ and is extremely corrosion– and oxidation-resistant. Niobium is stable in its strength at high temperatures and is not reactive to most acids. Due to its high thermal and electrical conductivity, it is perfectly suited for high-performance use in harsh environments.
