Copper Tungsten 80/20 Sheet and Plate is made up of around 80% Tungsten and 20% Copper. The high Tungsten content gives high wear resistance, tensile strength (~700–900 MPa), and melting point (over 3000°C), whereas the Copper content gives high electrical and thermal conductivity. The density is generally 14.5–15.5 g/cm³. This hybrid material is produced by powder metallurgy processes, integrating the high-temperature strength and hardness of Tungsten with the conductive nature of Copper, rendering it suitable for thermal stability and high-stress durability environments.
