Incoloy 800/800H/800HT Valves consist mainly of Nickel (30–35%), Iron (39.5% min), Chromium (19–23%), with minor additions of Aluminum (0.15–0.60%), Titanium (0.15–0.60%), and Carbon (up to 0.10% for 800HT). These alloys have very good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 520–600 MPa, yield strength of 205–270 MPa, and elongation of 30–45%. Their physical properties are a density of 7.94 g/cm³ and a melting point of about 1350–1400°C. These valves have better resistance to oxidation, carburization, and high-temperature corrosion and hence are best suited for applications at elevated temperatures.
