Copper Nickel 90/10 Nuts consist of 90% Copper and 10% Nickel with minor additions of Iron (up to 1.5%) and Manganese (up to 1.0%) for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. These nuts possess tensile strength of 275–400 MPa, yield strength of 100–150 MPa, and elongation of up to 40%. Their density is close to 8.9 g/cm³, with a melting point between 1100°C and 1145°C. Cu-Ni 90/10 possesses superior resistance to seawater corrosion, stress cracking, and biofouling. The alloy also possesses good thermal conductivity and moderate electrical conductivity, making it suitable for harsh marine and industrial applications.
