Copper Nickel Pipes typically contain 90% Copper and 10% Nickel (Cu-Ni 90/10 grade) or 70% Copper and 30% Nickel (Cu-Ni 70/30 grade), along with minor amounts of Iron (1.5–2%) and Manganese (0.5–1%) to provide corrosion resistance and strength. These pipes provide tensile strength in the range of 350–500 MPa and yield strength of 100–150 MPa, with elongation of up to 30%. They have a physical density of 8.9 g/cm³, a melting temperature of approximately 1170°C, and superior thermal conductivity along with good biofouling and seawater corrosion resistance, which qualifies them for marine usage.
