Copper Nickel 90/10 Pipes contain 90% copper, 10% nickel with minor amounts of iron (1.8%) and manganese (1%) added for the purposes of improving erosion and corrosion resistance. Pipes have high mechanical properties, which exhibit a tensile strength of 300–350 MPa, yield strength approximately 100 MPa, and elongation 30%. The physical properties of pipes consist of density being 8.9 g/cm³, melting point between 1100–1145°C, and thermal conductivity around 50 W/m·K. These features render 90/10 pipes ideal for application in marine, industrial, and heat transfer systems that are subjected to extreme environments.
