Copper Nickel Forged Fittings are typically manufactured from Cu-Ni 90/10 (90% copper, 10% nickel) or Cu-Ni 70/30 (70% copper, 30% nickel) alloys. They also contain minor amounts of iron (up to 1.8%) and manganese (up to 1%) for increased strength and corrosion resistance. The fittings provide mechanical properties like tensile strength of 300–500 MPa, yield strength of 100–150 MPa, and elongation of 30–35%. Physical characteristics are a density of 8.9 g/cm³, a melting point of 1100–1240°C, and thermal conductivity of 29–50 W/m·K, providing durability and performance in seawater and chemical environments.
