Copper Nickel Bolts are produced in two standard grades mainly: Cu-Ni 70/30 (70% Copper, 30% Nickel) and Cu-Ni 90/10 (90% Copper, 10% Nickel), with small amounts of elements such as Iron (0.4–1.0%) and Manganese (0.5–1.0%) to improve strength and corrosion resistance. These bolts have tensile strength ranging from 350–550 MPa, yield strength of 150–250 MPa, and elongation ranging from 30–40%. Their density is around 8.9 g/cm³, and the melting range is approximately 1170–1240°C. With great resistance to saltwater corrosion, erosion, and biofouling, they also have good thermal stability and are simple to machine and weld.
