Copper Nickel 90/10 Bolts contain nearly 90% Copper and 10% Nickel along with limited additions of Iron (1.5%) and Manganese (1.0%) for increased strength and resistance against corrosion. They provide a tensile strength of 275–400 MPa, yield strength of around 100–150 MPa, and elongation of nearly 30%. The density is nearly 8.9 g/cm³, and the melting point varies from 1100°C to 1145°C. These bolts are highly resistant to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and erosion, and also possess good thermal conductivity and fair electrical conductivity. They have very good weldability and formability, and can be used for complicated assemblies.
