Copper Nickel Coils are generally fabricated from Cu-Ni 90/10 (90% Copper, 10% Nickel) or Cu-Ni 70/30 (70% Copper, 30% Nickel) alloys. They also include Iron (1.5–2%) and Manganese (up to 1%) to enhance mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. These coils provide tensile strength of 350–500 MPa and yield strength of 100–150 MPa, with elongation up to 30%. With a density of 8.9 g/cm³ and melting point at approximately 1170°C, they have superior thermal conductivity, high resistance to biofouling, and superior durability in saline and high-pressure applications.
