Copper Nickel 90/10 Coil has about 90% Copper and 10% Nickel, with Iron (up to 1.5%) and Manganese (up to 1.0%) additions for increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The coil provides tensile strength of 275–400 MPa and yield strength of 100–150 MPa, while elongation is between 30–40%. It possesses density of 8.9 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1100°C–1145°C. The alloy is resistant to seawater corrosion, erosion, and biofouling, and possesses good thermal conductivity and moderate electrical conductivity, and thus is suitable for critical applications in corrosive environments.
