Copper Nickel Flanges are generally manufactured from 90/10 (90% Copper, 10% Nickel) or 70/30 (70% Copper, 30% Nickel) alloys. These also consist of Iron (1.5–2.5%) and Manganese (0.5–1.0%) to enhance strength as well as resistance to corrosion and erosion. The mechanical properties consist of tensile strength of 275–500 MPa, yield strength of 105–150 MPa, and elongation of 30% to 45%. The density of Copper Nickel alloys is about 8.9 g/cm³ with melting point of 1170°C to 1240°C. They provide superior thermal stability, mechanical strength, and extended service life in harsh environments.
