Copper Nickel 90/10 Flanges consist of 90% Copper and 10% Nickel, with Iron (up to 1.8%) and Manganese (1%) incorporated to enhance strength and corrosion resistance. These flanges have fine mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 275–345 MPa, yield strength approximately 105 MPa, and elongation 30–40%. The melting point is between 1100–1145°C, with the density 8.9 g/cm³. Copper Nickel 90/10 exhibits moderate thermal conductivity as well as very low electrical conductivity (10–12% IACS), showing high resistance against biofouling, stress corrosion cracking, and erosion under marine and wet environments.
