Copper Nickel 70/30 Fasteners are constructed from an alloy of 70% copper and 30% nickel, together with traces of iron (up to 0.4%) and manganese (up to 1%) to enhance the strength and resistance. The fasteners provide strong mechanical properties with tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, yield strength of 150 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Their physical characteristics consist of a density of 8.94 g/cm³, melting point of 1170°C, and thermal conductivity of 29 W/m·K. This blend offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and aggressive media.
