Copper Nickel 90/10 Fasteners comprise about 90% Copper and 10% Nickel along with minute additions of Iron (up to 1.5%) and Manganese (up to 1.0%) to improve strength and resistance to corrosion. The fasteners provide tensile strength ranging from 275–400 MPa and yield strength ranging from 100–150 MPa, with elongation up to 40%. Its density is around 8.9 g/cm³ and the melting point ranges from 1100°C to 1145°C. Known for excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, erosion, and biofouling, they also exhibit good thermal conductivity and moderate electrical conductivity, making them ideal for harsh marine and industrial environments.
