Copper Nickel 90/10 Bars contain around 90% Copper and 10% Nickel, with minor additions of Iron (1.8%) and Manganese (1%) for increased corrosion resistance and strength. These bars have a tensile strength of 275–345 MPa, yield strength of approximately 105 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. Their physical characteristics are a density of 8.9 g/cm³, electrical conductivity of approximately 10–12% IACS, and melting point of around 1100–1145°C. The balance of mechanical strength and strong resistance to saltwater corrosion of this alloy makes it extremely useful for marine as well as industrial applications.
