Copper Nickel 90/10 Wire consists of about 90% Copper and 10% Nickel with minor additions of Iron (1.5%) and Manganese (1.0%) for improved corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. It provides tensile strength of 275–400 MPa, yield strength of 100–150 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. The wire contains density of approximately 8.9 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1100°C–1145°C. It offers great resistance to seawater corrosion, erosion, and biofouling, as well as high thermal and moderate electrical conductivity, thus being suitable for challenging industrial and marine applications.
