Titanium Gr 12 Pipes consist of Titanium (~97.5%), with Molybdenum (0.2–0.4%) and Nickel (0.6–0.9%) as addition to strengthen corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing conditions. The following elements are present too: Iron (≤0.30%), Oxygen (≤0.25%), Carbon (≤0.08%), Nitrogen (≤0.03%), and Hydrogen (≤0.015%). Grade 12 possesses tensile strength of approximately 483 MPa, yield strength of around 345 MPa, and elongation of nearly 18%. It has a density of 4.51 g/cm³ and a melting point near 1620°C. This grade exhibits improved crevice corrosion resistance and excellent formability, making it suitable for welded and high-pressure applications.
