Titanium Gr 8 Pipes consist of about Titanium (~99.1%), Palladium (0.13%–0.25%), controlled amounts of Oxygen (≤0.13%), Iron (≤0.30%), Carbon (≤0.08%), Nitrogen (≤0.03%), and Hydrogen (≤0.015%). This alpha alloy provides tensile strength of approximately 550 MPa, yield strength of about 380 MPa, and elongation of approximately 18%. It possesses a density of 4.51 g/cm³ and a melting point of nearly 1665°C. Palladium addition greatly improves corrosion resistance in acidic and chloride environments, while its mechanical strength and stability qualify it for severe service conditions.
