Titanium Gr 2 Pipes consist of Titanium (99.2% min), with small amounts of elements like Iron (≤0.3%), Oxygen (≤0.25%), Carbon (≤0.08%), Nitrogen (≤0.03%), and Hydrogen (≤0.015%). This commercially pure grade has excellent corrosion resistance and moderate strength. Properties are mechanical tensile strength of about 345 MPa, yield strength of ~275 MPa, and elongation of about 20%. Density is 4.51 g/cm³ with melting point close to 1665°C and thermal conductivity of about 16.4 W/m·K. Such properties make Gr 2 titanium an excellent choice for applications in structural and handling fluids in harsh environments.
