Titanium Gr 6 Pipes consist of around Titanium (~92.5%), Aluminum (5%), and Tin (2.5%) and traces of Iron (<0.3%), Oxygen (<0.20%), Carbon (<0.08%), Nitrogen (<0.05%), and Hydrogen (<0.015%). This alloy has a tensile strength of about 860 MPa, yield strength around 725 MPa, and elongation of around 10–15%. Titanium Gr 6 is of density 4.43 g/cm³ and melting point ~1600°C. It provides good strength retention at high temperatures and is therefore applicable in high-performance applications in extreme environments like aerospace and chemical processing.
