Duplex Ball Valves are made of Duplex 2205 stainless steel consisting of 22% chromium, 5–6.5% nickel, 3–3.5% molybdenum, 0.14% nitrogen, and the rest balance iron. This alloy offers high resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and general corrosion. Mechanically, the valves possess tensile strength of 620–850 MPa, yield strength approximately 450 MPa, and elongation of 25%. Physical properties are a density of 7.8 g/cm³, melting point of 1350–1400°C, and thermal conductivity of 19 W/m·K. These properties render Duplex Ball Valves suitable for high-pressure, corrosive, and demanding applications.
