Monel Ball Valves, generally made of Monel 400, consist of about Nickel (Ni) 63–70%, Copper (Cu) 28–34%), and Iron (Fe) up to 2.5%), Manganese (Mn) ≤2%), Silicon (Si) ≤0.5%), and Carbon (C) ≤0.3%). These valves have good mechanical strength, tensile strength between 480–620 MPa, yield strength around 170 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. Their density is 8.8 g/cm³, and they are able to bear temperatures up to 1300–1350°C. Monel ball valves show excellent resistance to seawater, acids, and alkalis, which makes them highly reliable for corrosive and pressure applications.
