Titanium ball valves produced by Jyoti Steels are mostly composed of Titanium Grade 2 or Grade 5, with approximately 90% Titanium, 6% Aluminum, and 4% Vanadium (in the case of Grade 5), along with small amounts of Iron (≤0.3%) and Oxygen (≤0.2%). The valves possess very good mechanical strength with tensile strength between 345 MPa (Grade 2) and 895 MPa (Grade 5), and yield strength between 275 MPa and 828 MPa. They have a low specific gravity of 4.5 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 1660°C. The valves also have high corrosion resistance in seawater, acid, and oxidizing media, which can guarantee long-term performance.
