Duplex Manifold Valves are usually made up of around 22–23% Chromium, 4.5–6.5% Nickel, 2.5–3.5% Molybdenum, and 0.14–0.20% Nitrogen, with the rest being Iron and trace elements such as Manganese (<2%) and Silicon (<1%). They have a tensile strength of 620–850 MPa and yield strength of 450 MPa, with elongation of around 25%, mechanically. Physically, the valves show a density of 7.8 g/cm³, a melting point of about 1350°C, and superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion and pitting. These characteristics guarantee maximum performance in high-pressure and aggressive environments.
